🎨 We warmly invite you to the Zamość Illustration Center. Until November 30, the exhibition “Kings of Poland” is on display.
The exhibition presents dozens of works created during the 15th National Illustration Workshop, organized by the Zamość Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions in 1998. The theme of the works is the figures of Polish kings and princes – both hereditary and elected. As a result, the exhibition is distinguished by a diversity of artistic approaches, styles, and techniques.
The authors include renowned Polish illustrators such as: Michał Bylina, Antoni Chodorowski, Elżbieta Dudek, Andrzej Heidrich, Mikołaj Kamler, Wiesław Majchrzak, Piotr Nagin, Marian Nowiński, Leszek Ołdak, Wanda Orlińska, Bogusław Orliński, Stanisław Ożóg, Dariusz Piaskowski, Jowita Płoszajska, Małgorzata Sawicka‑Woronowicz, Wiesława Studencka‑Grosset, Anna Sędziwy, Elżbieta Śmietanka‑Combik, Teresa Wilbik, Józef Wilkoń, Zdzisław Witwicki, and others.
The exhibition is further enriched with illustrations by artists who did not participate in that workshop.
