Podczas nadchodzącego Dnia Otwartego Zamojskiej Akademii Kultury odbędzie się uroczyste podpisanie umowy pomiędzy Miastem Zamość, Akademią Zamojską, Książnicą Zamojską im. Stanisława Kostki Zamoyskiego oraz Fundacją Powszechnego Czytania, które oficjalnie zainauguruje realizację projektu edukacyjno‑kulturalnego SKORUPKA.
Zamość od chwili swojego powstania był miejscem, w którym idee, wiedza i kultura przenikały się, inspirując kolejne pokolenia. Profesor Szymonowic przypominał, jak ważne jest pielęgnowanie języka polskiego — „Polacy nie gęsi…” — a Jan Zamoyski, fundując Akademię, podkreślał, że przyszłość państwa zależy od poziomu i jakości edukacji.
Projekt SKORUPKA jest współczesną kontynuacją tych wartości. Jego celem jest rozwijanie kompetencji społecznych, emocjonalnych i komunikacyjnych poprzez kontakt z literaturą oraz budowanie kultury dialogu i wrażliwości. Wspólne działania Miasta, Uczelni, Książnicy oraz Fundacji są wyrazem odpowiedzialności dorosłych za mądre i świadome wspieranie młodych ludzi — zarówno sercem, jak i umysłem.
Fundacja Powszechnego Czytania, jako strona umowy, nie tylko obejmie projekt swoim patronatem, lecz także wesprze jego dystrybucję i realizację, wykorzystując swoje doświadczenie, zasoby oraz sieć współpracy. Co istotne, wszystkie wypracowane w ramach projektu materiały będą udostępniane bezpłatnie wszystkim zainteresowanym stronom, aby jak najszerzej wspierać rozwój kompetencji społecznych poprzez kontakt z książką.
Uroczyste podpisanie umowy będzie symbolicznym początkiem współpracy, która łączy tradycję z nowoczesnością i pokazuje, że literatura pozostaje jednym z najważniejszych narzędzi rozwoju człowieka.

During the upcoming Open Day of the Zamość Academy of Culture, a ceremonial signing of an agreement will take place between the City of Zamość, the Zamość Academy, the Stanisław Kostka Zamoyski Zamość Library, and the Universal Reading Foundation, officially inaugurating the implementation of the educational and cultural project SKORUPKA.
From the moment of its founding, Zamość has been a place where ideas, knowledge, and culture have intertwined, inspiring generations. Professor Szymonowic reminded us of the importance of nurturing the Polish language — “Poles are no geese…” — while Jan Zamoyski, establishing the Academy, emphasized that the future of the state depends on the level and quality of education.
The SKORUPKA project is a contemporary continuation of these values. Its aim is to develop social, emotional, and communication skills through contact with literature, as well as to foster a culture of dialogue and sensitivity. The joint efforts of the City, the University, the Library, and the Foundation reflect the responsibility of adults to support young people wisely and consciously — with both heart and mind.
As a signatory of the agreement, the Universal Reading Foundation will not only grant the project its patronage but will also support its distribution and implementation, drawing on its experience, resources, and network of partnerships. Importantly, all materials developed within the project will be made available free of charge to all interested parties, in order to broadly promote the development of social competences through engagement with books.
The ceremonial signing of the agreement will mark a symbolic beginning of a collaboration that connects tradition with modernity and demonstrates that literature remains one of the most important tools for human development.
